Call for Nominations for the SSL’s Annual Presidents Awards
Greetings fellow SSL Members –
Each year our Society awards the President’s Award to a fellow SSL member for demonstrating a pattern of sustained contribution throughout the past year that is widely recognized as helping The Society thrive. And while the recipient of The President’s Award is ultimately selected by SSL’s President, the selection itself is made from the pool of nominations submitted by The Society’s general membership. If you prefer, you can bring the the completed nomination form to our next General Meeting on Tuesday October 25th at 7 PM at Christ Church United Methodist on Brownsboro Road. This month’s program includes a Samhain celebration including membership guising (originally a Scottish custom) with Halloween Hats and Scottish Ghost Stories by Mandy Dick. Halloween hats aren’t mandatory, but those who do participate will be eligible for a chance at winning a Wee prize!
